Wow, I can't believe the last time I blogged was mid October. So much has happened, and I can wait to let you all know what's going on. That can come at a later date, as with this upcoming year, I promise that I will be blogging a minimum of 2 times a month. At another rate, I pray that everyones holiday went extremely well, even back up to Thanksgiving because I did not get the chance to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving either!! (really lacking!!). My Christmas went extremely well and it really had nothing to do with items, gifts, or anything in that category. In fact, the only thing that I truly care about during the time of holidays is FAMILY. My grandmother is 92 and still in her right mind and walking just fine, even though she just recently began to use a cane! That is a blessing all in itself. My mother is always flying from state to state trying to get her campaign together for her run into office, that is a blessing all itself as well. The best gift that I received was being able to stay in my hometown, Galesburg, for a week. This was the first time I have stayed for that long of a duration since my high school days i believe. During my stay, my mother and I took a couple of road trips together and I truly believe we created an even stronger bond together. I truly love her with all my heart and she is more of a role model for me than she will ever know! She is the reason I am where I am at today! I will not stop until she is fully proud of me, and I know I have a long ways to go.
The title of this blog is "Thankful" because I truly am thankful for everything that has come my way. I have worked hard to reach this level where I am at and I now see that not everyone can reach it. While back at home, I finally got to reconnect with some old high school friends and it saddens me that they are doing the exact same stuff they were doing 8 or so years ago! I am thankful that I had a loving backbone of a family to push me to become the greatest me that is possible. People must push their loved ones to perform at their highest ability or they will suffer from mediocrity. Mediocrity is my deepest fear. 2016 is right around the corner (literally hours away), please make sure you all are ready for the changes that are necessary to make your life better! Also, please celebrate the incoming year RESPONSIBLY! and as always NEVER STAY STAGNANT!!
PS I will blog real soon on all of my recent gigs, but for the time being please check out my actors reel located on my home page of this site, as well as on youtube if you search " Justin Davidson Actor Reel" Thanks guys!
